At Community Medics, we believe that practical knowledge builds confidence. whether that is responding to an emergency, navigating new technology, or understanding everyday responsibilities more safely and effectively. Our wider training programmes are designed to support individuals, organisations, and communities with relevant, accessible learning that reflects real-world challenges.

Delivered by experienced trainers with frontline, professional, and community backgrounds, our courses are engaging, practical, and grounded in everyday scenarios. Our current programme includes Introduction to AI, Introduction to Using IT, DVLA First Aid Awareness training, and Emergency First Aid at War – Civilian Home Front, supporting both personal development and organisational resilience.

These sessions are designed to be inclusive and approachable, with no prior knowledge required. Content can be adapted to suit workplaces, community groups, volunteers, or the general public, ensuring learning is relevant, responsible, and proportionate to the audience.

By choosing Community Medics for your training, you are supporting more than just skills development. Training for your Theory Test

From 2026, the DVLA are adding CPR and defibrillator (AED) questions to the UK driving theory test,  because knowing how to save a life should be as common as knowing the Highway Code.

Our 90-minute Driving Test CPR & Defib Essentials session helps learner drivers feel confident answering these questions, and even more confident if they ever need to use the skills in real life.

Delivered in the fun, hands-on Community Medics style, this short course blends theory and practice, giving you the key knowledge the test expects and the confidence to act safely and effectively at the scene of a medical emergency.
