Community Medics, based in Greater Manchester, is a community-focused organisation dedicated to improving first aid resilience and wellbeing across local communities.

At our core, we empower people of all ages with lifesaving first aid knowledge and confidence, helping ordinary individuals feel prepared to act when emergencies happen.

We provide professional, affordable first aid cover for community events, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of everyone involved. Our teams do more than deliver medical care, they support event organisers with welfare, lost children, and general assistance, becoming part of the wider event team to help it run smoothly.

Because most community events pass without serious incidents, our teams use quieter moments to deliver free public engagement and first aid awareness, offering CPR demonstrations and interactive sessions with visitors, helping the community gain hands-on experience.

Alongside this, our Community Medics Youth programme helps young people aged 11–18 build skills in first aid, leadership, and volunteering. By investing in youth development, we’re nurturing confident, responsible future community leaders.

We are currently in the process of transitioning to become a Community Interest Company (CIC), a move that will formally protect our community-first mission through a legal asset lock and ensure that our profits are reinvested directly into community benefit projects, youth engagement, and training.
